About Point Venture Neighbors For STR Reform
Point Venture Neighbors for Short Term Rental Reform is a group of concerned residents working together to improve & preserve our neighborhood. We have taken a lot of time to educate ourselves on ordinances, code enforcement and the Short Term Rental industry. We are a simple group of residents that have poured our blood, sweat and tears into this issue because we are directly effected. We are striving to amend deed restrictions, get an enforceable local ordinance in place, as all the surrounding communities already have. Since we started on this journey, 4 new STR's have started advertising our community and all its amenities that attract large groups. Strangers continue to fill our park, our pool and the rest of our amenities.
Numerous members of our community have been directly affected by a Short Term Vacation Rental and each and every one of them will tell you, "We never could have imagined how horrible this would be and how the quality of life would be taken away until it happened to them!
